guardian scan, poorly-ness and internet telly :::
By warriorgrrl | November 17, 2008
Bleurgh. I am sick. It’s not the horrible fluey cold thing that travels from person to person every winter, but some weird tummy bug that’s left me all weak and pathetic and seemingly unable to leave my bed. I’m way behind on all the things I wanted to get done over the weekend - including adding at least another 10,000 words to my NaNo word count - but what can you do? When you’re ill you’re ill.
I scanned the Guardian piece in pre-illness, doesn’t it look nice? There are loads more excellent photos on the same theme at the Someone Once Told Me website, go visit.

I have to get better quickly, I have lots to do this week. Tomorrow I’m accompanying Hal and Simon from The Young Punx to Camden for an internet TV interview. Another great excuse to wear clashing clothes and too much makeup, hooray! If that won’t cheer me up, nothing will…

luckily i very rarely get ill but when it happens it’s the most dreadful thing. My personal recommendation for a speedy recovery;
x1 very very spicy plate of food, curry, mexican doesnt matter as long as it’s hot as hell
x1 litre of grapefruit juice, drink whilst eating
x2 lemsip max strength capsules, consume after eating
x8 hours sleep to be taken immediately after taking capsules
x1 very very hot shower to take immediately after you wake up from exactly 8 hours sleep
it’s worked for me on numerous occasions when i’ve started to feel bad, i follow the above and i’m up and at ‘em before anything bad gets to me!
awesome guardian feature as well, i plan on doing my own ’someone once told me’ this week!

You’re the man with the plan! That sounds perfect for fluey stuff but I think it might have exacerbated my nausea. I just need strength now, I’m going to make some great soup in a minute which should do the trick.
I’m enjoying reading about how your novel’s coming along, I hope to be catching up soon!
